History

The Bank was founded in 1993 as a joint Kazakh-American bank Texakabank. At the beginning of 2007, the bank was renamed Subsidiary Bank Joint Stock Company Sberbank of Russia. On September 1, 2022, Sberbank Group and Baiterek National Management Holding closed the purchase and sale transaction of the entire Sber shareholding into Sberbank Kazakhstan. On September 21, the bank completed re-registration and became known as Bereke Bank
