  • Implemented comprehensive projects to structure clients’ holding and operational structures, taking into account tax, exchange, and sanctions regulations;
  • Successfully passed AML/CFT inspections by foreign regulators, which included preparing documentation, fine-tuning KYC processes, and defending the company’s position;

  • Developing a presence strategy in the GCC region
    — Analysis of the legal and economic conditions specific to Gulf countries, including the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia; developing a market entry roadmap taking into account local licensing and exchange regulation, foreign trade and taxation requirements.
  • Establishing the structure of and launching the UAE Office
    — Selecting the optimal legal structure and free economic zone (DMCC, ADGM, etc.); company registration, setting up accounting and tax reporting processes, organizing document flow and internal control systems.
  • Team recruiting, hiring, and training
    — Building the Dubai office team: recruiting staff, making employment agreements under the UAE employment law, developing an introductory training programme, and adapting the Group's processes to the specifics of the region.

    — Preparing guidance materials and conducting internal training on KYC, sanctions policy, FATF international standards, regulatory requirements, and dealing with PEPs.

    — Setting up turnkey KYC and compliance processes for client companies: policies, questionnaires, ID verification procedures, and internal documentation suitable for passing banking and licensing inspections.
