Specialization

• Providing legal support for and administering companies of GSL’s regular clients (monitoring the due dates for the annual government fee and related services, making powers of attorney, ordering certificates of the company’s status, annually reviewing legislative changes, maintaining registers, etc.);
• Interacting with registered agents in relation to paying government fees, ordering documents, updating registers and dealing with other related matters;
• Performing the initial customer identification and collecting KYC (Know Your Customer) documents during the annual company renewal;
• Coordinating the work of foreign offices in what concerns the interaction with authorities, payment of government fees, ordering of documents, and processing of incoming correspondence;
• Individually selecting a postal address for foreign companies and further support of postal services (keeping track of the correspondence received at the postal address provided under the contract, processing and analyzing the incoming correspondence, delivering it to the client);
• Managing the documentation of foreign companies, including the processing, recording and keeping of documents;

Projects completed

• Providing company administration support in various jurisdictions: Bahamas, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Cyprus, Hong Kong, Marshall Islands, Panama, Seychelles, and the United Kingdom (4,000+ annual company renewals).
• Finding the registered agent to match the client’s requirements and carrying out the company transfer (160+ cases).
• Making changes in the corporate structure (change of director, secretary, shareholder, and beneficial owner) for 100+ companies.
• Supporting the closure of foreign companies (with finding and appointing a liquidator).
• Making economic substance filings with the International Tax Authority of the British Virgin Islands (2,000+ cases).
