Obtaining temporary residence in Slovakia for the purpose of business by the director of a trading company. Service offer

The director of a trading company registered in Slovakia can apply for a Temporary Residence Permit for the Purpose of Business in Slovakia.

The fact of establishing / owning a Slovak company is not enough to obtain a residence permit.

Main requirements

  • Provide proof of eligibility for this category of residence permit by submitting the company documents.
  • Provide proof of being financially covered – having at least EUR 3 287.88 (12 times the minimum subsistence level*); this amount is calculated for the principal applicant, excluding family members.
  • Provide proof of having financial resources to conduct business activities – at least EUR 27 399 (100 times the minimum subsistence level).

- If the company did not conduct business during the entire tax period, then the after-tax profit must be at least 5 times the subsistence level for each month of residence of the applicant;
