The laws of the State of Wyoming provide for the following types of business:
One of the most popular and common forms is the Limited Liability Company.
In 1977 a piece of special legislation was passed introducing the Wyoming Limited Liability Company. This type of entity has the advantage of limited liability, like a corporation, and offers tax efficiency and operational flexibility, like a partnership. Each member of a limited liability company enjoys liability limited to the extent of their investment and pays tax individually in proportion to their ownership.
