In 2022, I joined the GSL team as a lawyer. Over the years, I have gained diverse experience, including experience in corporate and tax practices. This has shaped my unique and versatile competences in several related areas of law which enable me to comprehensively assess tasks and come up with unconventional solutions. The experience I gained allows me to promptly analyze potential risks that may arise in the course of the client’s business, as well as to prevent such risks. I believe that the key to doing a good job is to take an individual approach to each project and to find the best possible ways to implement it.
In 2021, I started as a lawyer in the International Tax Planning Department of a large international consulting firm. As part of a team of lawyers, I completed a project for internal corporate restructuring of a large Russian trading company. I registered new entities and integrated them into the corporate structure, as well as prepared for and carried out the liquidation of unwanted companies of the group. I also provided legal support for the company’s participation in public procurement by analyzing legislation and drafting contracts and related documents.
My career path in the legal profession began in 2018 at the legal department of a large company in the fuel & energy sector in my capacity as paralegal. I was involved in contractual work and analysis of Russian tax legislation in the fuel & energy sector for largest taxpayers. I also represented the company in commercial litigation. I defended the company at dozens of court hearings.
