History

The bank was established in 1951 as the State Savings Bank (D'Rzhavna spestovna kasa -DSK), in 1998 it was transformed into a commercial bank.

In October 2003, after the successful privatization of OTP Bank, Hungary became the sole owner of the share capital of DSK Bank
