History

Türkiye Emlak Bankası A.Ş. was established on 8 January 1988 as a result of the merger of Anadolu Bank and Türkiye Emlak Kredi Bank. On November 29, 1992 Denizcilik Bankası T.A.Ş. was transferred to Türkiye Emlak Bankası A.Ş. In 2001, the bank's activities were suspended. And on February 25, 2019, a license to resume operations under the name Türkiye Emlak Katılım Bankası was published in the Official Gazette

To open an account, the beneficiary / director must visit the bank branch. It is possible to open an account by power of attorney

Required

At the physical person (without a residence permit): confirmation of a tax number in Turkey; the original of the civil passport with the address of registration; a notarized translation of a civil passport into Turkish; original foreign passport.
At the physical person (in the presence of a residence permit): confirmation of the tax number in Turkey; residence permit (ikamet) or work permit; a document confirming the address of permanent residence; original passport / ID.
At legal person: confirmation of the tax number; sample signatures of directors; certificate of the nature of the company's activities from the Chamber of Commerce; publication of the registration of the company in the official newspaper of the trade register; completed questionnaires in the form of a bank for a company and an owner; confirmation of the source of origin of funds, incl. regarding the initial deposit; copies of current contracts / invoices with contractors; reporting, cash flow chart, ownership structure chart, etc.
